Local Birdwatchers
Please note that most Birdingpals are serious birdwatchers. It is a privilege to contact them, and your message should reflect it. A local Pal does not get paid, but should he/she offer to take you out birding, using their own vehicle, it would be courteous to pay for the fuel. A lunch and/or a small gift would also be appropriate, something as simple as a souvenir of your country, or a pin from your local birding club.

Centro Studi Ornitologici “Antonio Valli da Todi” is an ornithological association founded in Umbria, Italy.
Most of the member are living in Umbria, and some are involved in Birds Census carry out by the Regional Administration, collecting data for The Atlas of Birds in Umbria. Some of us carried out the field birds census for the Birds Atlas of Regional Parks, so they have a direct knowledge of the area were they operate. From passerines to eagles, from Mediterranean to Mountain habitat, from artificial lake to marsh, choose one bird from the 295 spicies in Umbria(http://www.ebnitalia.it/lists/umbria.htm) and we will bring you in the right place to see it!
It is important that such activities become more popular in this part of Italy, so we will ask birders to refund the money for gasoline and give a contribution to the association.
